(4) Blade float buttonThe controls for the leveling blade are located on top of propel lever (1). Blade lower button (2) and blade raise button (3) allow the operator to adjust the height of the blade. Blade float button (4) places the blade system in float. These buttons are all push-button switches. The switch contacts are momentary.Note: On machines equipped with a hydraulic blade system, a premium joystick (shown) is substituted for the standard propel lever. This joystick has the additional controls necessary to control the blade system.Propel lever (1) communicates with the machine ECM through the CAN. Each time the operator presses a blade control button, an input signal is sent to the machine ECM. The machine ECM controls the operation of the blade valve according to these input signals. When the engine start switch is first moved to the ON position, the blade system is disabled.
