Rear View (Torque Converter Charge Filter)
The power train oil filters are mounted to the top of the bevel gear case at the rear of the machine. The transmission charge filter is on the left side of the case. Illustration 16 g03374980The power train ECM receives input from sensors that are located throughout the machine. The ECM uses this input in order to control the operation of the outputs of the ECM, including the brake control valve, the transmission modulating valves. These components receive signals from the ECM in order to control the operation of the machine. The power train ECM is located behind a panel at the rear of the operator station.Sensors

(4) Decelerator Pedal Position Sensor Each pedal has a position sensor that informs the power train ECM of the position of the pedals. Sensor (3) measures the position of service brake pedal (1). Sensor (4) measures the position of decelerator pedal (2).
Illustration 18 g03374983The crank speed/timing sensor is located on the front left of the engine block. The crank speed/timing sensor transmits the speed of the engine to the power train ECM by measuring the speed of the crankshaft.
Illustration 19 g03375246The torque converter output speed sensor is located on the rear of the torque converter housing. This sensor transmits the speed of the torque converter output shaft to the power train ECM.
Illustration 20 g03375042The transmission output speed sensors transmit the speed and direction of the output shaft to the power train ECM. The transmission output speed sensors are located on the transmission case inside the bevel gear case.
Illustration 21 g03375043The steering position sensor for the steering control lever informs the ECM of the position of the lever. The ECM uses this information to send the appropriate current to the transmission hydraulic control in order to control track speed. The position sensor for the lever is located inside the steering control lever housing.
Illustration 22 g03375044The torque converter temperature sensor measures the temperature of the power train oil after the oil leaves the torque converter and before the oil enters the oil cooler. The sensor is located on the torque converter outlet relief valve.
