Files are sent according to the priority of the file type. Beginning with the most important, the order is as follows:1 - File Status2 - Productivity3 - Diagnostics4 - SnippetsMerging Files
Large numbers of snippet files may build up without being sent, for example when the network is down. When these files build up, the on-board software automatically checks the length of the file transfer queue and shortens the queue as much as possible. For example, when the FTP queue contains 50 snippet files, the following actions occur:
The on-board software merges files with the same type and group number.
The on-board software deletes the old files and places the new, merged file back in the queue.
The process is logged in the Diagnostic File.
The files appear in the "Snippets" diagnostic window.
