Adjusting the Fore and Aft Position of the Seat

Fore and Aft Adjustment (1) - Pull up the fore and aft lever (1). This action will allow movement of the seat forward or rearward to the desired position. Release lever (1) in order to lock the seat in place.Adjusting the Angle of the Back of the Seat

Back Angle Adjustment (2) - Lift lever (2) and allow the seat back to tilt forward. Push the front of the backrest in order to tilt the seat backward. Release lever (2) at the desired position.Adjusting the Height of the Seat
Seats with Mechanical Suspension

Adjustment of the Seat Height (3) - Pull up on height adjustment lever (3) and pull up on the seat in order to raise the height of the seat. Pull up on height adjustment lever (3) and push down on the seat in order to lower the height of the seat.Seats with optional Air Suspension

Adjustment of the Seat Height (3) - Push in on the air valve knob (3) in order to raise the height of the seat. Pull out on the air valve knob (3) in order to lower the height of the seat.Note: The key start switch must be on in order to raise the seat.Weight Adjustment
Seats with Mechanical Suspension
Illustration 5 g02288693Weight Adjustment (4) - Rotate knob (4) and observe gauge (4A) in order to obtain the proper adjustment for the weight of the operator. Turn the knob counterclockwise in order to reduce the stiffness of the suspension for an operator of lighter weight. Turn the knob clockwise in order to increase the stiffness of the suspension for an operator of a heavier weight.Seats with optional Air Suspension
The weight adjustment is automatically controlled by adjusting the height of the seat.Adjusting the Lumbar Support

Adjustment for the Lumbar Support (5) - Rotate the knob (5) clockwise in order to increase support for the lower back. Rotate the knob (5) counterclockwise in order to decrease support for the lower back.Extension for the Back of the Seat
Illustration 7 g02277813Extension for the Back of the Seat (6) - Lift the extension (6) in order to remove the extension. When you install extension (6), push the extension all the way downward. The extension should touch the top of the seat.Storage for the Operation and Maintenance Manual
