Use this procedure in order to troubleshoot high transmission oil pressure. Use this procedure if the following event code is active.

Troubleshooting Test Steps Values Results
1. Check for Restriction in the Pressure Relief Valve
A. Locate the pressure relief valve for the transmission oil.
B. Remove any restriction and check the operation of the pressure relief valve.
Pressure relief valve Result: The pressure relief valve is not operational.
Repair: Repair the pressure relief valve or replace the pressure relief valve.
Verify that the repair eliminated the problem.
