Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.

Move propulsion lever (2) to the NEUTRAL position.
Rotate speed dial (3) to the MINIMUM position.
Move travel mode switch (6) to the TRAVEL position.
Move parking brake switch (4) to the ON position.
Move throttle control switch (5) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
After the engine reaches low idle, move engine start switch (1) to the OFF position.

Move key switch (7) to (OFF) position.
Open the left access door, which is in the deck of the operator's platform.

Loosen the retaining nut on the coil of parking brake solenoid (9). Remove the coil of the parking brake solenoid from the valve stem.Note: Parking brake solenoid (9) is the bottom solenoid on the right side of the front face of auxiliary manifold (8). The 374-PK and the 277-BK are connected to the solenoid.
Assemble the tooling.

Open the pump compartment, which is on the left side of the machine. Connect a pressure gauge (A) to port "M2" (10) .
Connect a pressure gauge (A) to port "M1" (11) .
Move key switch (7) to the ON position. Move engine start switch (1) to the START position. Release the engine start switch when the engine starts.
Move throttle control switch (5) to the HIGH IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second. The engine speed should increase to 2310 rpm.
Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature with Tool (F). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43° 5.6°C (110° 10°F).
Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before operating the machine.
Move parking brake switch (4) to the OFF position.
Move propulsion lever (2) to the full FORWARD position.
Slowly rotate speed dial (3) toward the MAXIMUM position.
Record the pressure at port "M2" (11) as "forward pressure". Forward pressure should be 41990 1380 kPa (6090 200 psi).
Move speed dial (3) back to the MINIMUM position.
Move propulsion lever (2) to the full REVERSE position.
Slowly rotate speed dial (3) toward the MAXIMUM position.
Record the pressure at port "M1" (10) as "reverse pressure". Reverse pressure should be 41990 1380 kPa (6090 200 psi).
Move speed dial (3) back to the MINIMUM position.
Move propulsion lever (2) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move parking brake switch (4) to the ON position.
Stop the engine. Refer to Step
