The 269-3228 Rod As in the 269-2728 Angling Cylinder Gp and 379-7041 Rod As in the 379-3504 Angling Cylinder Gp may break and fail on the machines listed above.Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem, and is recommending the following Interim Corrective action.In the event of failure, replace the rod assembly with complete cylinder group.Replace 269-2728 Angling Cylinder Gp with new 269-2728 Angling Cylinder Gp for machines that are listed in Table 1.
