(11) Install 1M3363 Plate and 7N4160 Switch Group (55), 8M7892 Ammeter (56), 2H1507 Circuit Breaker (57) with two 5L4705 Screws and 4K5122 Holder (58) with a 3K8782 Fuse. Assemble 9D3127 Base (59), 7N5876 Lamp, 9D2868 Lens and 5P7058 Plate; install them in the instrument panel.Scraper Engine Wiring Harness
(1) Inspect harnesses (1) and (2); if they are not damaged, they can be used again. If they are damaged, install new harnesses. Put 2G9251 Harness Assembly (3) in position along the right side of the transmission, along the top and down the left side of hood support (4). Connect harness (3) to harness (1); use 5P562 Wire for lock wire to prevent loose connections caused by vibration. Connect purple wire (5) to the engine glow plug harness. (2) Connect yellow and black wire (6) and black wires (7) to the fuel shut off solenoid. Connect white wire (8) to electric starting motor switch (9). Connect black wires (10) to a good electrical ground on the engine block. Connect 2G9176 Wire Assembly (11) to the positive terminal on switch (9). (3) Put wiring harness (3) and wire (11) in position along the left side of the engine and up radiator brace (12). Connect orange wire (13) from harness (3) to alternator (14). Put harness (3) and wire (11) in position and connect wire (11) to circuit breaker (15). Use the wiring schematic, identification and wire color codes that follow to connect harness (3) to the instrument panel. (4) Connect 2G7376 Wire Assembly (27) to the black wire on service meter (25) and to switch (28). Connect 6G2119 Wire Assembly (29) to the red wire on service meter (25), to coolant flow warning light (21), fuse holder (20) and to light switch (18). Install 2G9133 Guard Assembly (30) over the scraper instrument panel. Install 2G1388 Latch on guard (30). (5) Remove the former elbow and tee and install 47617 Elbow (31) and 2D7325 Tee (32). Install former oil pressure switch (33) with the electrical connections in the up position. Connect black wire (34) [from harness assembly (3)] to one terminal on switch (33) and white and black wires (35) to the other terminal. Connect purple and white wire (36) to retarder temperature sender (37). Connect white and black wire (38) to torque converter temperature sender unit (39). (6) Put harness (3) in position as shown with clip (40). Use a 4B1220 Screw, 4B4863 Washer, 1H4393 Lockwasher and 4B2043 Nut to fasten the four wires (red and white; white and black; pink and white and dark blue) together. Put electrical tape on the connection to a length of 80.0 (3.15"). Connect white and black wire (41) to the water temperature sending unit. Connect light green wire (42) and white wire (43) to coolant flow switch (44). (7) Remove left upper fan shield (45). Use a cutting torch to remove section (B) at the dimensions shown. (8) Remove bolts (45) and let plate (46) hang loosely in position. Remove radiator support
