Operator ID Enable
Enable the Service Mode in the secondary display. Refer to the “Service Mode” section.
Navigate to Service > Configurations > Machine > Operator ID in the secondary display.
To enable Operator ID without machine security, select Enabled.
To enable Operator ID with machine security, select Security. Cat Electronic Technician (ET) will be required to disabled security once it is enabled.

Operator ID will be enabled the next time the machine is keyed on. The operator will be prompted to enter their operator code in the display. Refer to the “Pass Code Security” section for more information.Operating Settings
A group of machine settings is connected to each unique code. When a valid code is entered in the secondary display, the machine settings from the previous time that code was entered will automatically be recalled. This setup is helpful when multiple operators are using the same machine.If security is already unlocked and a different operator has entered the machine, the new operator can load settings by navigating to the "Change Operator" screen in the "Operator" menu.If desirable to change a machine setting for all operator codes simultaneously, the setting must be changed through Cat Electronic Technician (ET). Otherwise, settings changes will only apply to the pass code currently entered in the display.The following machine settings are included as part of the Operator Settings feature:Keypad Button States

The Operator ID System supports up to 25 different codes. Operator Codes can be managed via CatElectronic Technician (ET), the secondary display, or remotely via VisionLink Operator Management. The available functionality differs between each as shown in the table. For Cat ET, go to the "Security Management" screen in the "Service" menu. For the secondary display, navigate to the "Manage Operators" menu within the "Operator" menu. Either mechanism will require the user to enter first a pass code with "Master" access level on the display. The default pass code, 1111, is set up as "Master". "Standard" access level will not have the ability to manage pass codes.
