Attach a 35000 kPa (5000 psi) differential pressure gauge between steering pressure tap (1) and load sense port (3) with a hose that is long enough to reach the cab.

The signal and pressure reducing valve is located just above the crankcase guard on the right side. Lower the crankcase guard in order to access the signal and pressure reducing valve. (2) Signal and pressure reducing valve (3) Load sensing line
Disconnect load sensing line (3) from the signal and pressure reducing valve. Cap both ends of the disconnected line.
Install the steering frame locks.
Do not steer the machine while performing this step. The pressure could rise to 24100 kPa (3500 psi).
Start the engine and run the engine at approximately 1000 rpm.
Read the margin pressure on the gauge. The margin pressure should be 1400 kPa (200 psi).
Stop the engine and remove the test equipment. Connect the load sensing line to the signal and pressure reducing valve and remove the steering frame locks.Adjust the margin pressure
Stop the engine and make sure that the hydraulic pressure is zero.

Remove the cap over the adjustment bolt (7) for the margin pressure. Loosen the jam nut. Turn the adjustment bolt for the margin pressure in the clockwise direction in order to increase the margin pressure setting. Turn the adjustment bolt for the margin pressure in the counterclockwise direction in order to decrease the margin pressure setting.
