Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to ripper shank (1). The weight of ripper shank (1) is approximately 147 kg (325 lb). Remove cotter pin (2), retainer (3), and pin (4) .

Raise ripper frame (6) all the way. Lower ripper shank (1) and remove the shank through the bottom of ripper beam (5). Installation Procedure

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the ripper shank. Raise ripper frame (6) until ripper shank (1) clears the bottom of ripper beam (5). The weight of the ripper shank (1) is approximately 147 kg (325 lb).

Raise ripper shank (1) into position with the lifting device. Install pin (4), retainer (3), and cotter pin (2) .
Remove Tooling (A) and the lifting strap from ripper shank (1) .
