Installation Procedure For The Track Roller On CIPI Undercarriage Arrangements Which Are Based On 325, 325B, and 325C Track Type Excavators

B     FT-1310     Track Roller Lifting Fork     1    Note: There is a track guide on each side of the machine. The procedure which follows is for the installation of the track roller with the track guide.
Make sure that the mounting surfaces on the track roller, the track guide, the rock guards (if equipped), and the frame rail are clean and free of dirt and debris prior to installing.

Use Tooling (B) to put track roller (2) in position on the undercarriage. The weight of the track roller is approximately 45 kg (99 lb).Note: Make sure that the fill/drain plug in the track roller is facing toward the outside of the undercarriage.
Install the four bolts that hold the track roller in position.

Use Tooling (B) to put track guide (1) in position on the undercarriage. Install the four bolts that secure the guide.

(X) Rock guard
Install the rock guards, if equipped.
Prior to lowering the machine to the ground and tightening the track, make sure that all of the track rollers rotate smoothly by manually turning the track rollers.

Lift the machine off Tooling (A) .
Remove Tooling (A) from the machine. Lower the machine to the floor.
Tighten the tension of the track. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track Adjustment - Adjust" for the correct procedure.
