If the machine is unlocked or there is an undefined response or no response within 3 seconds, the Information Display will bypass showing the Pass Code keypad screen. The normal start-up sequence procedure (Performance Page 1) will begin.If the security status is either locked or blocked, the Machine Code Numerical Keypad page will appear.

(3) Next buttonNote: The NEXT button (3) will be available for those situations where the operator does not have an Operator ID assigned. Pressing the NEXT button will bypass the code entry. The Information Display should continue with the normal boot up process.Enter the pass code with the Machine Code Numerical Keypad. If the wrong number was entered, press the Keypad BACK button (1) to back space over the wrong number.

Code Accepted – Engine Start Allowed message
(2) OK buttonIf the pass code is accepted, a dialog screen will appear with the message, "Code Accepted – Engine Start Allowed" will be visible for 5 seconds.The normal startup sequence will follow.The Cat Detect Disclaimer Screen will show if Cat Detect is installed. (5) HOME buttonIf the security status is blocked after keying on, or while viewing the Machine Code Numerical Keypad page, the “Code Entry Blocked” message will appear. This occurs after more than five (5) consecutive invalid pass code attempts. While, blocked, the machine will be locked out for 15 minutes.If the code entry is blocked, this means that the operator has entered an invalid security code.If the status changes to "Locked," the Display will return to the original Machine Code Numerical Keypad page. This is done in case the security status changes. The operator is prompted to re-enter the pass code.

(4) HOME buttonAt key off, a dialog box will appear with the message, “Lock Security?”.If the operator presses the OK button within 3 seconds, the Information Display will shutdown normally. Authentication will be required at the next key on.If the user presses the "X" (CANCEL) button (5), the user will have a 15 minute grace period and will not be required to reauthenticate during this time. After the extended grace period, security will be locked, and reauthentication will be required.If no selection is made within 10 seconds, the Information Display will keep the security unlocked for 15 minutes.Cat® Display Start-Up page
