Illustration 1 g01913054The cameras provide the operator with a view of the critical areas around the truck. The cameras are also used for identifying objects that were identified by the object detection sensors. The cameras are mounted on brackets at the following locations:
Front (Certain machine types)
Rear
Sides (Certain machine types)The camera is a 12/24 V, 115 degree view camera, that supports the NTSC video format. The display does allow the use of the PAL video format that is included with WAVS. All cameras have a four-pin connector. The connector contacts are described in Table 1.

Aim the camera downward in order to show a portion of the rear of the machine.To adjust the camera, loosen bolts (1) and move the camera for your desired view.Prior to operating the machine, ensure that the features of the display are properly adjusted. Ensure that the brightness and the contrast are adjusted prior to operating the machine. Ensure that the brightness and the contrast are adjusted after changes in the conditions for ambient light.Prior to operating the machine, ensure that the display is positioned in order to provide clear visibility of the display from the operator seat. Do not position the display in a way that will cause the following conditions:
Cover any safety messages or other important information.
Impede the entry to the cab or impede the exit from the cab.
Obstruct the visibility of the operator.
Obstruct the view of any indicators, gauges, or monitoring system.
Impair access to any operator controls
