Remove hose assemblies (22) and hose assembly (23). Remove bolt (27) and the hose clip. Remove overflow hose (24) .
Remove hose clamp (25) and disconnect hose (26) .

Attach suitable lifting devices to support assemblies (29) and (30). The combined weight of support assemblies (29), and (30), shunt tank (28), and the air cleaner assemblies is approximately 136 kg (300 lb). Remove the bolts and use the suitable lifting devices in order to remove support assemblies (29), and (30), shunt tank (28), and the air cleaner assemblies as one unit.

Loosen hose clamp (32) and disconnect hose (31). Loosen bent bolt clamp (34) and remove venturi pipe assembly (33). Repeat this step for venturi pipe assembly (35) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to exhaust module (36). The weight of exhaust module (36) is approximately 195 kg (430 lb).

Draw alignment marks (41) that will cover both the lines group and the associated clamps, as shown in Illustration 17.
Wrap the bellows with a protective cover in order to avoid possible damage to the bellows during the removal and installation.Note: Removal of the entire line group as a whole is ideal. However, it may be necessary to disassemble the line group in order for the line group to be removed.Note: Care should be taken when handling the lines group. The slightest bump or drop can result in a misalignment of the bellows and a possible need for replacement.
Loosen ball clamp (38) and ball clamp (43) .
Discard ball clamp (38) and ball clamp (43). The clamp assemblies are a one time use part.Note: Steps 20 through 21 are only necessary if slip joint clamp (40) was loosened to remove the entire lines group.

Remove slip joint clamp (40) from bellows (39) by removing spot weld (44). Use a suitable grinding device in order to remove spot weld (44) .Note: Use care not to remove excessive amounts of material and grind on the bellows.Note: Do not use a vice to secure the lines group. The bellows cannot be damaged in any way during this procedure.
Inspect the clamping surface on the outside of bellows (39). Deburr the surface if necessary.Note: If bellows (39) is damaged during the removal of slip joint clamp (40), replace bellows (39) .

Disconnect hose (46) and hose (47) from filter assembly (45). Disconnect filter assembly (45) from the engine and set filter assembly (45) aside.
Repeat Steps 15 through 22 for the opposite side of the machine.

Remove bolts (48) from both sides of the machine. Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove exhaust module (36) .

Remove heat shields (49) .

Remove strap assemblies (50) in order to remove catalyst (51). Repeat this step for the remaining catalyst.
