814B, 815B, 816B CompactorsDescription of Change: An improved pin assembly for the cylinder is available for the above machines. The new pin assembly has a retainer plate that is made so the pin will be 10.0 mm (.39") higher in the bore than the former pin assembly. The change was made to raise the edge of the radius that is near the top of the pin above the top of the pin bore. The location of the edge of the radius on the former pin assembly was inside the pin bore. Pin movement during machine operation caused a ridge to form in the pin bore just above the radius corner. The improved pin will not form a ridge in the pin bore.
Adaptable To: The new 8V7659 Pin Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 2V9722 Pin Assembly.
