Remove Transmission Neutralizer Group
Cab and platform are removed for photo purposes only. 1. Disconnect tube assembly (1) and hose assembly (2) from the transmission neutralizer group.2. Disconnect wires (3).3. Remove two bolts (5). Remove transmission neutralizer group from the transmission case and the valve spool in the hydraulic control valve.4. Remove plate (4). 5. Loosen nut (7). Remove rod (10) and cam (11) from the cable assembly.6. Remove nut (8) from cable assembly (9). Remove transmission neutralizer group (6) from the cable assembly.Install Transmission Neutralizer Group
1. Put cable assembly (3) in position in transmission neutralizer group (1). Install nut (2).2. Install cam (5) and rod (4) on the cable and tighten nut (6).3. Install plate (8).4. Check the O-ring seal on the neutralizer control for wear or damage. If necessary, make a replacement. Install transmission neutralizer group on the valve spool of the hydraulic control valve and the transmission case. 5. Connect wires (7).6. Connect the tube assembly and hose assembly to the neutralizer control group.7. Make an adjustment to the transmission neutralizer control group. See POWER SHIFT TRANSMISSION, TESTING AND ADJUSTING, Form No. SENR7834.Disassemble Transmission Neutralizer Group
start by:a) remove transmission neutralizer group 1. Remove housing assembly (2) and plate (1) from the transmission neutralizer group housing. 2. Remove piston (4) from the housing assembly.3. Remove seal (3) from the piston. 4. Remove bolts (7) and spacers. Remove spring (5) and lever assembly (6). 5. Remove retainer ring (9) from pin (10). Make a separation of levers (8). 6. Loosen nut (11). Remove cam (12) from the rod.7. Remove rod (13) from the housing. 8. Remove two screws (14) from each switch. Remove wiring harness (15) and switches from the housing as a unit. 9. Disconnect wires (17) and (18) from the switches. Put identification on the wires so they will not be mixed at assembly.10. Remove switches (16).Assemble Transmission Neutralizer Group
1. Put switches (1) and (2) in position on the wiring harness. Connect wires (3) and (4) to the switches. Make sure the wires are installed in their original positions. Remove the screw from the switch terminal that is not used. 2. Install switches and wiring harness (5) in housing (6). Tighten the screws and nuts to a torque of 5 1 lb.in. (0.5 0.1 N m). 3. Install rod (9) in the housing.4. Install cam (7) on the rod so the distance from the centerline of the pin to the cam face is 3.18 in. (80.8 mm). Tighten nut (8). 5. Put 1P808 General Purpose Lubricant on the pin. Install pin (12) in levers (11). Install retainer ring (10) on the pin. 6. Install spring (13) on the lever assembly.7. Put lever assembly (14) in position in the housing. Put 1P808 General Purpose Lubricant on the spacers and install spacers (15) and bolts that hold the lever assembly. 8. Put 1P808 General Purpose Lubricant in the bore of housing assembly (17).9. Install seal (18) on the piston.
