Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the bucket from the cover. Refer to Service Manual, "Cover and Conveyor - Remove and Install".
Remove drive chain. Refer to Service Manual, "Drive Chain - Remove and Install".

Loosen four bolts (1) on each end of adjustable shaft.
Loosen jam nut (2) on each end of adjustable shaft.
Release the tension on the conveyor by loosening the adjustment screws (3) on each end of the adjustable shaft.

Remove the three master links (5) .
Remove conveyor chain (4) .Installation Procedure

Anchor the cover.
Align the conveyor chains with the sprockets on the drive bar. Pull the conveyor over the top drive bar. Pull the conveyor toward the front idler shaft.

Pull the two ends of the conveyor chains (4) together and add the three master links (5) .

Adjust the conveyor to the correct tension by using the adjustment screws (3) on each end of the shaft. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7213, "Conveyor Chain - Inspect/Adjust".Note: A properly adjusted conveyor should have 20 to 30 mm (0.8 to 1.2 inch) of total free sag at the middle of the top slack span.
Tighten the jam nut (2) .
Tighten four bolts (1) .End By:
Install drive chain. Refer to Service Manual, "Drive Chain - Remove and Install".
Install the bucket onto the cover. Refer to Service Manual, "Cover and Conveyor - Remove and Install".
