Install plug (12) and the seal in housing (11). Tighten plug (12) to a torque of 160 20 N m (118.0 15.0 lb ft).

Install spring (10) on housing (11). Install bushing (8) and gasket (9) on actuator shaft (6). Insert actuator shaft (6) in housing (11) until gasket (9) and bushing (8) enter the housing. Use a soft hammer and tap on the end of actuator shaft (6) in order to fully seat the gasket and the bushing.

Install cam (5) on shaft (6) and use the identification marks in order to align the cam.

In order to ensure that cam (5) is properly installed, place Tooling (B) on the housing. Align actuator arm (6) with Tooling (B). The distance between the cam and the housing with the actuator arm in the vertical position should be 35 mm (1.0 inch). Adjust the cam on the actuator shaft in order to obtain the correct dimension. Note: If the cam is not installed correctly, the parking will not work properly.

Use Tooling (A) and install retaining ring (7) on the actuator shaft (6).

Install the brake caliper (3), the pads (4) , the two bolts (2), and locking tabs.

Torque the two bolts to (2) 41 7 N m (30.0 5.0 lb ft). Adjust the bolt heads until the nearest flat aligns with locking tabs (1). Then bend locking tabs (1) over the bolt heads. End By:
Install the parking brake. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Parking Brake - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
