Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Check the condition of the gaskets and the O-rings. If the gaskets or the O-rings are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Typical example
Place the seal and water pump (2) in position on the engine.
Install four nuts (11) and one bolt (12) .
Install the gasket and four bolts (13) .

Place elbow (8) in position with the gaskets, the seal, and flange (9) .Note: Lightly lubricate the bore and the seal with glycerin.
Install two bolts (7) and two bolts (10) .

Place the O-ring seals and tube (6) in position on the engine.Note: Lightly lubricate the bore and the seal with glycerin.
Place the gasket and elbow (4) in position.
Install two bolts (5) .

Install the hoses and tighten three clamps (1) .
Install the hose to water pump (2) and tighten clamp (3) .End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
