Remove the gerotor motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gerotor Motor - Remove".

Remove bolts (1) .
Remove cover plate (2) from ring gear (3) .

Remove thrust washer (4), spline (5), sun gear (6), and two planetary gears (7) .

Attach Tooling (A) .
Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A) .

Remove bolts (8) .
Remove hub (9) from ring gear (3). The weight of hub (9) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).

Bend the tab on lockwasher (11) .
Use Tooling (B) in order to remove spanner nut (10) .
Remove lockwasher (11) and washer (12) .
