Remove the engine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove engine speed sensor (1) .

Remove bolts (2) in order to remove flexible coupling (3) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel (5). Remove bolts (4) and remove flywheel (5). The weight of flywheel (5) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).Installation Procedure

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel (5). Install flywheel (5). The weight of flywheel (5) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb). Install bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 298 41 N m (220 30 lb ft).

Install flexible coupling (3) and install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 54 9 N m (40 7 lb ft).

Screw engine speed sensor (1) into the flywheel housing until the probe contacts the gear teeth. Unscrew engine speed sensor (1) for approximately three quarters of a turn. Tighten the jam nut to a torque of 25 5 N m (18 4 lb ft).End By: Install the engine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine - Install".
