Improved control strategy to reduce occurrences of engine stall under certain conditions when the service brakes are fully engaged and the transmission modulation control (inching pedal) is not utilized. The ECM will shift the transmission to NEUTRAL during braking with no inching pedal engagement. When travel speed is less than 6.5 km/h (4.00 mph) and the service brake is disengaged, the transmission will remain in NEUTRAL until the transmission control lever is moved to the NEUTRAL position and then to a requested gear position. When travel speed is greater than 6.5 km/h (4.00 mph) and the service brake is disengaged, the ECM will re-engage the transmission to a speed matched gear. 12M, 120M

Improvement to limit activation of the "No Steering Detected With Command Given" (EID 0258) when machines travel speed is less than 15 km/h (9.3 mph).
New software improves the event code strategy to minimize the activation of the "Steering Output Detected With No Command" (EID 0257) and the "Steering Output Detected In the Wrong Direction" (EID 0256) when steer cylinder movement is detected during engine stall.
Improvement to the activation strategy for the CID 2202 FMI 12 (Steering Valve Control Module, Bad Device or Component) during operation in cold conditions.
Improvement to the activation strategy for the EID 0560 (Secondary Steering Pump Not Responding to Command) when the automatic secondary steer test is activated at engine start and cold oil prevents pressure to increase as expected in cold-weather conditions. Under these conditions, an EID 1304 (Secondary Steering Pump Automatic Test Bypassed) event will be activated when cold mode operation is active. When the cold mode is de-activated, a display message will prompt the operator to perform the manual Secondary Steering Test.
Hydraulic temperature thresholds have been increased in order to minimize activation of the level 1 and the level 2, EID 0599 (Gear Too High for Steering with Cold Oil) event.
