Place the machine in the servicing position.

Move the hydraulic lockout control to the LOCKED position. Stop the engine.

Slowly loosen the filler plug in order to relieve any pressure.
Tighten the filler plug after the pressure is relieved.
Place the joysticks in the HOLD position.
Start the engine and move the engine speed dial to position "10". DO NOT MOVE ANY IMPLEMENTS.

The filter is located near the main control valve.

Install the pressure gauge on the pressure nipple on top of the filter and read the value:
If the pressure reading is below "1 0.2 bars", the filter should be inspected for damage.
If the pressure reading is between "1 0.2 bars" and "3 0.2 bars", the filter element is clean.
If the pressure is "3 0.2 bars" or more, the filter element needs to be replaced.Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Filter Element (Fine Filtration) - Replace" for the correct procedure.
