start by:a) remove rollover protective structure (ROPS)b) remove steering wheel The cab and platform can be removed from the machine as separate units. 1. Remove bolts (2) that hold the hydraulic control panel to the platform.2. Remove screws (1) that hold panel (3) to the platform. 3. Pull panel (3) away from the platform and disconnect wires (4) and air line (5). 4. Remove two screws (6) and nuts. Remove two bolts and nuts (not shown) that hold the plate (7) to the platform.5. Remove the floormat from the cab. 6. Remove ten bolts (8) that hold the floor plate to the platform. 7. Remove the bolts and remove shroud (9) from the lower cab platform. 8. Install four 3/8"-16 NC x 3 in. long bolts (10) to hold the floor plate to the frame. 9. Install two 3/8"-16 NC bolts (11) to hold hydraulic control console (12) to the frame.10. Open the access doors to the engine on the right side of the machine. 11. Turn valves (13) and (15) to the "OFF" position. Disconnect heater hoses (14) and (16) from the valves and drain the coolant from the heater system.12. Open the access door behind the cab on the left hand side of the machine.
Always wear goggles when the air conditioning system is opened. This system is charged with Freon-12 (CCL2F2 Dichlorodifluoromethane) which is not toxic or flammable. But there is a reason for caution. When Freon- 12 makes contact with flame, lethal phosgene gas is made. INHALING FREON THROUGH A LIGHTED CIGARETTE CAN CAUSE VIOLENT ILLNESS. This system is under pressure at all times, engine running or not. HEAT MUST NEVER BE PUT ON A CHARGED SYSTEM.
13. Disconnect heater hoses (17) and air conditioner lines (18) from the back of the platform.14. Open the access door behind the cab on the right side of the machine. 15. Disconnect wiring harnesses (19) and (20) from the back of the platform. 16. Open access door (21) on the right side of the platform. 17. Remove bolts (23) and retainers (22) from the pins on each corner (four locations) of the platform assembly. 18. Use tooling (A) to remove pins (24) from each corner (four locations) of the platform assembly. 19. Install tooling (B) and a hoist to the top of cab (25). Remove the cab and platform from the machine. The weight of the cab and platform is 585 kg (1300 lb.).Install Cab And Platform
1. Install tooling (A) and a hoist to the top of the cab (1).2. Put cab and platform (1) in position on the machine. 3. Install pins (2) in each corner (four locations) that hold the cab and platform assembly to the machine.4. Install retainers (3) that hold pins (2) in place. 5. Remove four bolts (4) that hold the floor plate to the frame. 6. Remove bolts (5) that hold the hydraulic control console to the frame. 7. Close access door (6) on the right side of the platform. 8. Install shroud
