At operating temperature, the engine cooling system is hot and under pressure. Steam can cause personal injury. Check the coolant level only after the machine has stopped and the fill cap and radiator are cool enough to touch with the bare hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure. Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent personal injury
1. Release the pressure in the cooling system by slowly loosening the fill cap on the radiator.2. Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container. The capacity of the cooling system is 31.42 litters (8.3 U.S. gal). 3. Loosen clamp (1) and remove hose (2) from radiator. 4. Remove six bolts (3) and move fan guard (4) towards engine. 5. Loosen clamp (5) and remove hose (6) from radiator. 6. Remove four bolts (7) and remove cover (8). 7. Remove bolts (9). 8. Remove bolts (10), slide cover (11) towards side of machine and remove cover (11). 9. Remove six bolts (12). 10. Remove six bolts (13). 11. Remove two bolts (14). 12. Remove two bolts (15). 13. Remove two bolts (16) and remove fan guard.14. Loosen alternator mounting bolts (17) and move alternator towards engine, to allow fan to rotate freely during radiator removal. 15. Slide fan shroud (18) away from radiator. 16. Install a lifting device and remove radiator (19). The weight of the radiator is ... 27 kg (60 lb).
