Rework Procedure
1. Isolate Genset before commencing any work on the unit, activate Emergency stop, open Genset breaker and disconnect battery cables. Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
2. Fit 294-7897 priming harness wire 53A to position 2 of 9D-3721 switch and 294-7897 priming harness wire + to position 3 of 9D-3721 Switch as shown in Image 1.1.1.
3. Secure 9D-3721 toggle switch to 295-0453 bracket using the hex nuts, lock ring and washer that are provided with 9D-3721 switch. There is a locating hole in the bracket, which will allow the correct orientation of the switch.

4. Fit bracket to engine flywheel housing Image 1.1.2 using (2) 8T-4179 bolts and 8T-4223 washers as shown Image 1.3.1.
5. Attach 295-0452 Film to bracket in a visible location (Image 1.3.1).

6. Connect 294-7897 priming harness wire + to the positive connection on the starter motor solenoid (Image 1.4.1).

7. Locate fuel control solenoid mounted on the fuel injector pump (Image 1.5.1) and disconnect wire 53A from solenoid.

8. Connect the female terminal on wire 53A of 294-7897 priming harness to the fuel solenoid (Image 1.6.1).

9. Connect wire 53A from the engine harness to the male connector on wire 53A of the priming harness (Image 1.7.1).
10. Use the 1S-9593 cable ties to secure the harness to the bracket and the main DC engine harness.

11. Clear generator area, reconnect batteries, and release emergency stop.
12. Run functional No load test on Genset.
