Primary/secondary steering indicator circuit
The components of the primary/secondary steering indicator are the indicator lamp panel, primary steering flow switch, secondary steering flow switch, steering indicator control, secondary steering speed sensor and transmission output speed sensor.

(7) Transmission output speed sensor With the key start switch in the ON position, 24 V power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker #1 to primary steering flow switch (3), secondary steering flow switch (4) and steering indicator control (5). Primary/secondary steering indicator (2) is on.When the engine starts and rpm increases, contacts close in primary steering flow switch (3) and supply 24 V power to steering indicator control (5). Steering indicator control (5) will turn off primary/secondary steering indicator (2).If the primary steering system fails, contacts open in primary steering flow switch (3). The open contacts mean that 24 V power will no longer be supplied to the steering indicator control (5). Steering indicator control (5) will turn on primary/secondary steering indicator (2).With the key start switch in the ON position, engine running and machine moving, contacts close in secondary steering flow switch (4). The closed contacts supply 24 V power to steering indicator control (5). With the engine speed below 1700 rpm and the ground speed below 4 km/h (2 mph) secondary steering flow switch (4) and steering indicator control (5) will not turn on primary/secondary steering indicator (2).If the secondary steering system fails, contacts open in secondary steering flow switch (4). The open contacts mean that 24 V power will not be supplied to the steering indicator control (5). With the engine speed above 1700 rpm and the ground speed above 4 km/h (2 mph), steering indicator control (5) will turn on primary/secondary steering indicator (2).
