Remove end cover (2) from housing (3) .Note: If prying is necessary, be careful not to damage the machined surfaces.

After the end cover is removed, the two dowel pins will remain in either end cover (4) or the housing (3). Do not remove the dowel pins. Remove seal (5) from housing (3) .

Mark the ends the drive gear and driven gears (6) for assembly purposes. Remove the drive gear and driven gears (6) from housing (3) .

Remove connecting shaft (7) from housing (3) .

Rotate the charge pump so drive shaft (8) is pointing upward. Mark the housing for installation.Note: Do not clamp any machined surfaces and do not clamp near any machined surfaces.

Remove four screws and washers (9) from end cover (10) .

Remove end cover (10) from housing (3) .Note: If prying is necessary, be careful not to damage the machined surfaces.

When the end cover is removed, two dowel pins (11) will remain in either the end cover or housing (3). Do not remove two dowel pins (11). Remove top thrust plate (12) from housing (3) .Note: Mark the location of the thrust plate.

Remove backup seal (13) and seal (12) from thrust plate (14) .

Remove seal (15) from housing (3) and mark the end of the drive gear and driven gear (16) for assembly purposes. Remove the drive gear and driven gear (16) from housing (3) .

Remove lower thrust plate (17) from housing (3) .Note: Mark the location of the thrust plate.

Remove backup seal (18) and seal (19) from thrust plate (17) .

Use a suitable tool and pry out shaft seal (20) from end cover (10) .
