start by:a) remove floor plate1. Disconnect governor control linkage (1). 2. Disconnect rod (2) at the governor control lever and remove rod (2). 3. Remove bolts (3) which hold the fuel injection line clamps to the bracket. 4. Disconnect eight injection fuel line nuts (5) at the valve cover bases. 5. Use tool (A) to disconnect eight fuel injection line nuts (4) at the fuel injection pump housing.6. Remove the fuel injection lines from the engine.7. Put 5F2807 Protection Caps and 2F2990 Plugs in the fuel injection lines, fuel injection pumps and valve cover base adapters to keep dirt and foreign material out of the fuel system.Install Fuel Injection Lines
1. Make sure the fuel injection lines are clean and dry.2. Put fuel injection lines (1) in position on the engine. 3. Use tool (A) to tighten the fuel injection line nuts to a torque of 40 7 N m (30 5 lb.ft.).4. Install bolts (2) which hold the fuel injection line clamps to the bracket. 5. Make sure the bolt assemblies that hold the fuel line clamps and dampers together are tightened to a torque of 10 3 N m (7 2 lb.ft.). 6. Connect rod (3) to the governor control lever. 7. Connect governor control linkage (4).8. Remove (bleed) the air from the system.end by:a) install floor plate
