Removal Procedure
Start By:
Release the hydraulic system pressure.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or for disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (DEAC) - Change" or Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Extended Life Coolant - Change" for the proper procedure.

Open grill assembly (2) on both sides of the machine in order to remove shield assemblies (1).

Disconnect hose assembly (6).
Disconnect elbow assembly (5) from water temperature regulator (4). Position elbow assembly (5) out of the way.
Disconnect flange (3) from water temperature regulator (4). Remove water temperature regulator (4).

Remove cup plug (7) and line valve assembly (8) from water temperature regulator (4). Remove O-ring seal (9) and O-ring seal (13) from water temperature regulator (4).
Remove O-ring seals (10), temperature regulators (11), and lip seals (12) from water temperature regulator (4). Installation Procedure

Install water temperature regulator (4) in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
