Using a 5P5173 Reamer will give the correct dimensions when reaming the valve guides in the cylinder head.
--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------A new 9Y6880 Cylinder Head Group with corrosion resistant components is available for landfill applications which burn fuel that often contains corrosive compounds. Some of the improvements include chrome plated valve stems and tight fit valve guides with exhaust valve guides counterbored to form carbon dams. These changes will improve valve life.
The new 9Y6882 and 9Y6883 Valves Guides and 4P2852 Valves are available for parts service. The valve guides have smaller inside diameters that have to be reamed to 9.467 0.013 mm (.3727 .0005") after being pressed into the head assembly.
