(4) Power Train ECM With the key start switch in the ON position, 24 V power is supplied via circuit breaker #9 to Power Train ECM (4).

(8) Transmission direction control switch Power Train ECM (4) receives a ground signal from transmission control (7) indicating the gear selected.When autoshift control switch (1) is moved to MANUAL position (2), a ground signal is supplied to Power Train ECM (4). Power Train ECM (4) monitors the signal from upshift switch (5) and downshift switch (6) to determine the gear that is selected by the operator.When autoshift control switch (1) is in AUTOMATIC position (3), a ground signal is supplied to the Power Train ECM (4). When the signal is received by Power Train ECM (4), Power Train ECM (4) will automatically control the upshift and downshift of gears.The position of autoshift control switch (1) indicates the highest gear selected by Power Train ECM (4) in automatic mode.
