Removal Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Disconnect the two air hoses (3) from the barring group (2).
Remove the four bolts (1) that hold the barring group to the rear housing. Remove the barring group (2).
The following steps detail the operation of the barring group (50 to 1 ratio).
In order to engage the barring group, hold the handle and depress the shaft.
Move the lever upward to an engaged position. Note: Do not use excessive force if the lever will not move to the engaged position. Rotate the adapter for a few turns in either direction while you apply pressure to the handle. This movement will rotate the pinion. This movement will cause the handle to engage while the shaft is depressed.Note: During the disassembly and the assembly of the barring group (50 to 1 ratio), the 7C-7668 Support can be misaligned. Assemble with four bolts that are hand tightened. Operate the handle assembly and the shaft in order to properly position the support. Tighten the bolts.
