This Step allows the electronic modules to establish the limits of the rockshaft potentiometer and the three-point lever position potentiometer. The machine must be running and the hydraulics must be operational. Operate the three-point position control lever as described.a. Slowly move the three-point position control lever rearward to the full up position. This captures the hitch and raises it to the top. Make sure that the lever is fully at the rear of the slot. The upper limit of both potentiometers is now established.b. Move the three-point position control lever fully forward and keep it there for at least 30 seconds. This allows the hitch linkage to be lowered as far as possible. The lower limit of both potentiometers is now established.12. This Step determines the thresholds of the 3-point raise and 3-point lower solenoids.a. Pull the three-point position control lever fully rearward.b. Press setup/select key (4) until the H6 function identifier is showing on readout (19). H6 is the calibration status function.c. Move the three-point position control lever forward approximately 19 mm (.75 in) to lower the hitch slightly.
