Idle shutdown timer/switchNote: The idle shutdown feature is a software enabled attachment. The idle shutdown feature is optional equipment. The idle shutdown feature may not be installed on your machine.This switch is an input to the Chassis ECM. The switch connects to connector contact J1-35 of the Chassis ECM. The idle shutdown switch is activated to cool down the engine properly after operation. The cool down period is intended to extend the life of components that operate at elevated temperatures during operation. When the idle shutdown switch is active, the switch overrides the keyswitch to keep the engine running after the keyswitch is turned off. After the time expires, the idle shutdown relay will be turned off and the machine will be shut down as normal.Steering Oil Level Switch

Steering oil level switchThis switch is an input to the Chassis ECM. The switch connects to connector contact J2-27 of the Chassis ECM. The switch is activated to alert the operator, if the Chassis ECM determines that the steering oil level is low.Case Drain Hydraulic Oil Switch

Case drain hydraulic oil switchThe filter bypass switch is an input to the ECM. The bypass switch is located on the housing of the filter for the case drain hydraulic oil. The bypass valve will open to protect the system if the filter is restricted. The bypass switch provides an input signal to the ECM. The ECM determines if the filter is restricted and the ECM informs the VIMSTM. The filter bypass switch connects to the ECM through contacts J1-34 and J2-63.Note: The machine has two filters. The bypass switch for each filter is wired in series, and the resulting signal is sent to the ECM. If either screen is plugged, a warning will be sent to the VIMSTM.Backlight Switch

Backlight switchThis switch is an input to the Chassis ECM. The rocker switch connects to the Chassis ECM at connector contact J2-60 for the increment and J2-46 for the decrement. The ECM will indicate a failure in the rocker switch when both of the signals are open or both signals are grounded. The switch determines the brightness of the LEDs that illuminate the rocker switches on the dash panel, the graphical display module, and the instrument cluster. This feature helps improve the vision of the operator during operation of the machine at night.Seat Belt Switch
