use the 1P90 Wheel Dolly when you lift Caterpillar repair stands and parts rack bases. The 1P90 Wheel Dolly must be used with the 1P2420 Transmission Stand, 2P5503 Parts Rack Base and the 6V97 Engine Stand.
The 1P90 Dolly has the correct height and pin location in the top plate to move these racks and stands safely. Other dollies may not have the correct design for use with these stands and rack base.
The 1P2420 Transmission Stand has a plate welded below the front edge of the stand which fits the 1P90 Dolly. If you try to lift the loaded stand with a different dolly, the pin might not fit correctly. In this case, the pin can suddenly slip into the hole, and cause the loaded stand to fall on the dolly. This can cause the dolly handle to jerk (pull away) out of the operator's hands. This could result in injury to the operator.
