Open the 378-5921 Access Cover Gp ((RH)) to access the hinge assembly.

Remove seven bolts, seven washers, and the hinge from the front of the hood. Dispose of the removed bolts, washers, and hinge.
Install a new 440-4933 Hinge As with seven 8T-4192 Bolts and seven 5P-1076 Hard Washers. Temporarily tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 N m (22 lb ft).

Remove the seven bolts, seven washers, and hinge from the rear of the hood. Dispose of the removed bolts, washers, and the hinge.
Install a new 440-4933 Hinge As with seven 8T-4192 Bolts and seven 5P-1076 Hard Washers. Temporarily tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 N m (22 lb ft).

Close the cover. Confirm the gaps around the cover as shown in Illustration 4. If there is a difference in the gap, loosen the bolts for the hinges and adjust the cover so that the gap is equal. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 50 N m (37 lb ft) and confirm the gap is equal.

(4) Striker (5) Rubber bumper
If the cover cannot be closed, adjust the striker and rubber bumper to close the cover.
After the hood is aligned and closes properly, tighten the bolts for the hinges to 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).
