Remove four screws (2). Remove cover plate (1). The manual override switches will be visible. The limp home plug receptacle will be visible.

Locate the limp home harness plug inside the main console in the center of the machine. Insert the limp home harness plug into the receptacle. This will manually override the propel system.

Place throttle control switch (3) in the HIGH idle position.

Lift both of the limp home switches simultaneously in order to propel the machine forward.
As the machine propels forward, take note of how straight the machine travels. Also check the FPM gauge in order to verifly the speed of the machine. For this case, straight travel is defined as less than 127 mm (5 inches) of drift in 6 m (20 ft) of travel. Stop the machine.

Take note of the direction of travel. The machine may slightly drift to the left or to the right. Straight travel for propelling forward is defined as less than 127 mm (5 inches) of drift for every 6 m (20 ft) of machine travel.

Push both of the limp home switches downward simultaneously in order to propel the machine in reverse.
Take note of the direction of travel. Check the FPM gauge in order to verifly the speed of the machine.
The objective is to match the left propel pump and the right propel pump by use of the limp home swtiches. If the machine travels straight forward on a flat pavement and the machine also travels in the same speed forward as the machine machine does in reverse travel within 8 ft/min, no adjustments are necessary. The maximum permissable drift for reverse is 1016 mm (40 inches) for every 6 m (20 ft) of machine travel.
Stop the engine.
If the measurements are not within these limits, an adjustment needs to be made.Adjustment Procedure

Use the chart above in order to determine the correct neutral adjustment for the propel pumps in every condition. Use the recordings that were taken during the initial testing.
Adjustments that are made to the neutral adjustment screws in 1/8 turn increments will cause the machine to drift. This is shown in the illustration above.Note: Make no more than a 1/8 turn adjustment in either direction before you recheck the machine travel with the limp home switches.

Locate the right propel pump and the left propel pump in the pump compartment.

Right Propel Pump (1) Locknut (2) Adjustment screw
Use a standard wrench in order to loosen locknut (1) .
Turn adjustment screw (2) with an allen wrench in 1/8 turn increments.
Hold neutral adjustment screw (2) stationary. Tighten locknut (1). Repeat Step 4 to Step 6 if adjustment screw (2) turns.
