Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device to exhaust purifier (12). The weight of exhaust purifier (12) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).
Install exhaust purifier (12).

Install joint (9).
Install clamp (11) and two bolts (10).
Install heat shield (8).

Install two metal seal rings (7) to elbow (3). Note: Install metal seal rings (7) with the ring end gaps 180 degrees apart.

Install elbow (3).
Install two bolts (4) and two retainers (5).
Install three bolts (6).

Install heat shields (1) and (2). End By:
Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
