HOUSING 4S7953 - Caterpillar

Install elbow assemblies (51) and connectors (50) retained in Step 34 with new 7M-8485 O-Ring Seal to 230-3633 Oil Filter Gp (58) .
Install 230-3633 Oil Filter Gp (58), eight 8T-4136 Bolt (56) and eight 8T-4121 Hard Washer (57) .
Connect two hose assemblies (45) disconnected in Step 32.
Install 318-7483 Hose As (60) and 318-7482 Hose As (61) .
Install two clips (48) retained in Step 30.
Install two 351-1278 Valve - Relief (59) .

Remove and discard clip assembly (65). Retain the bolt and washer for installation purposes.
Remove and discard 234-7556 Hose As (66) .
Remove and discard connector (64) .

Install 9S-4185 O-Ring Plug (70) and 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal (71) .
Install 8T-2525 Grommet (67), 5P-7469 Clip (68), 5P-7468 Clip (69), and the bolt and washer retained in Step 45.

Remove and discard 8M-0505 Connector (72) .

Install 9S-4190 O-Ring Plug (73) and 2M-9780 O-Ring Seal (74) .

Clean the differential and final drive suction screens. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Differential and Final Drive Oil (With Axle Oil Cooler) - Change" for the location.
Check the differential and final drive oil levels. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Differential and Final Drive Oil Level (With Axle Oil Cooler) - Check" for the procedure.
