Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Install Tooling (A) onto the hydraulic tank. Attach an air supply hose onto Tooling (A). Apply 138 kPa (20 psi). This procedure will pull a vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Open door assembly (1) on the left side.

Remove bolts (2) and Reposition panel assembly (3) .

Disconnect cable assemblies (4), (5), and (6). Disconnect harness assemblies (7) and (8) .

Remove bolts (10). Remove control panel (11) .

Remove bolt (12) and bushing (13). Remove pin assembly (14) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (19). Remove cotter pin (16), bolt (18), and bushing (17). Remove pin assembly (15). The weight of articulation cylinder (20) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Use two people to remove articulation cylinder (20) .

Use Tooling (C) to remove seal assemblies (21) .

Use Tooling (B) to remove bearing (22). Repeat the process for the other side.Installation Procedure
Install articulation cylinder (20) in the reverse order of removal.
Use Tooling (D) to install bearings (22).

(1) Tighten the bolt to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1328 148 lb ft). (2) Tighten the head to a torque of 600 130 N m (443 96 lb ft). (3) Lubricate buffer seal with lubricant that is being sealed. (4) Lubricate U cup seal with lubricant that is being sealed. (5) Apply Tooling (F) to the groove of lip seal prior to assembly. Lubricate lip seal with lubricant that is being sealed.
