793F, 795F Series AC, and 797F Improvements
Replaced the engine cooling fan speed sensor diagnostics (CID 544 FMI 02 & CID 544 FMI 08) with a level 1 low cooling fan speed event (EID 1363).
The low engine cooling fan speed sensor logic (EID 1363) will activate when: - The engine is running - The engine cooling fan has been commanded "ON" - The cooling fan speed is less than, or equal to, 180 RPM for 25 seconds
Replaced the brake cooling pump speed sensor diagnostics (CID 1229 FMI 02 & CID 1229 FMI 08) with a level 2 brake pump speed not responding to command event (EID1651).
The low brake cooling pump speed not responding to command event (EID 1651) will activate when: - The engine is running - The brake pump cooling pump installation status is "Installed" (797F Only) - The steering pump oil pressure is greater than 18409 kPa (2670 psi) (793F Only) - The "Brake Cooling Pump Speed" is less than the "Desired Brake Cooling Pump Speed" for 10 seconds
The retarder indicator will now flash when there is a fault with any retarder component.797F High Altitude Arrangement Improvements
Increased the activation time on the cooling fan speed event (EID 662), for high altitude arrangements from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.
Increased the cooling fan speed threshold: - Level 2 = 615 RPM for 10 seconds - Level 3 = 635 RPM for 10 seconds793F Improvements
Improved system slip ratios in the traction control logic to enhance the system engagement timing.
Disabled the temperature input for dynamic arc engagement.795F Series AC Improvements
Increased the activation time for the loss of communication diagnostic between the drivetrain ECM and the display ECM (CID 2448 FMI 9).797F Improvements
Improved configurations for ARC: - 1850 = Desired Speed (Default - Highest Speed allowed to be programmed via Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET). - 1750 = Desired Speed (Lowest Speed allowed to be programmed via Cat ET) - 1975 = Protect Mode Desired Speed - 1925 = Protect Mode "ON" Speed - 1875 = Protect Mode "OFF" SpeedNote: The newly added events may show up on the advisor display as "Unknown" unless the most recent advisor software on SIS Web is installed on the machine.The new 473-0302 Machine Software Gp (BRAKE) is a direct replacement for the existing 459-1812 Machine Software Gp. The new Machine Software Gp part number is listed in Table 1.
