This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3830" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3830" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The steering accumulators in the steering oil lines group may not withstand the maximum rated pressure on certain 12H, 14H, 16H, 120H, 135H, 140H, 160H, 143H, and 163H Motor Graders. New steering accumulators need to be installed on these machines.

Parts Stock
Remove all 1021862 Accumulators from Parts Stock.
Affected Product
Refer to the Service Manual as required. Remove the existing 1021862 Accumulator and install a new 1304926 Accumulator. New accumulators will need to be charged with nitrogen to 1000 psi. See page 70 of SENR8518 Systems Operation / Testing and Adjusting for tools needed.
