Sudden movement or accidental starting of the machine can cause personal injury or death to persons on or near the machine.To prevent personal injury or death, perform the following:Park the machine on a smooth, level surface.Lower the work tool to the ground and engage the parking brake.Stop the engine and remove the key.Block the wheels and install the steering frame lock.
This procedure is used when there is a complaint of slow implement speed. This procedure will help determine the side of the implement hydraulic system that is supplying the incorrect amount of oil flow to the lift cylinders.The variable displacement pump (right) supplies oil only to the right side of the implement control valve. During this check, the implement electronic control module (ECM) will activate only the right side implement control valve and the variable displacement pump (right). Oil from the variable displacement pump (center) flows through the deactivated left side implement control valve to the hydraulic tank.
Connect the steering frame lock link.
Engage the parking brake.
Shift the transmission to neutral.
Start the engine. Warm the hydraulic oil to normal operating temperature of approximately 49 to 65°C (120 to 150°F).

Press the "OK" key on keypad (1) repeatedly. The hour meter will be displayed on the diagnostic message screen (2).
Enter "SERV" on the keypad and then press the "OK" key. Press the ">" key until the diagnostic message screen displays the following message:

"TO SEE SPEC LIST" The displayed specifications on the diagnostic message screen are the expected results for the tests that may be performed with the right valve only. The specifications in this manual may not agree with the specifications that are displayed on the diagnostic message screen. The service personnel must use the specifications that are displayed on the diagnostic message screen for testing. These specifications could be changed by future software updates for the implement ECM.The following specifications are displayed on the diagnostic message screen: the cutoff pressure for the variable displacement pump, the lift time for the bucket with the variable displacement pump, the double stall rpm for the variable displacement pump, the relief pressure setting for the right line relief valve and the pressure setting for the right backup relief valve. The double stall is the torque converter stall. The hydraulic load of the variable displacement pump at main relief pressure is added to the torque converter stall speed.
