Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the bottom guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bottom Guard - Remove and Install". Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Drain the air tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Air Tank Moisture and Sediment - Drain" for the correct procedure.

Disconnect hose assembly (1).

Remove hose assembly (4). Repeat for opposite side. Use two people in order to support bracket (3). The weight of bracket (3) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Remove bolts (2). Remove bracket (3).

Use two people in order to support air tank (6). The weight of air tank (6) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Remove bolts (5) and lower air tank (6).

Disconnect hose assemblies (7). Remove air tank (6). Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Position air tank (6). Attach hose assembly (7).

Install air tank (6). Install bolts (5).

Attach hose assembly (4). Repeat for the opposite. Position bracket (3). Install bolts (2).

Install the bottom guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bottom Guard - Remove and Install".
