Machine Preparation
Before starting work on the machine, park the machine on a smooth level area that can support the weight of the machine.
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock- Separate and Connect"for your machine, for more information.Installation Procedure

(A) 345-7725 Screw (B) 377-5706 Bracket As and 132-3421 Bumper (C) 339-8891 Bracket As
Remove the Screws (A) and the Bracket As / Bumper (B), if equipped, from the Bracket As (C) on the left-hand side of the machine.

If the machine is equipped with heated mirrors, relocate the Clips (D). Refer to Illustration 2.

Install the Bracket (1) onto the Bracket As (C) .Install the Bracket (1) over the Clips (D) if the machine is equipped with heated mirrors.Torque the Screws (2) to 105 N m (77.44 lb ft).

Install the Nut (4) onto the Conical Bumper (5) .

Install the Hard Washer (3) and the bumper and jam nut assembly (4 and 5) onto the Bracket (1) .

(D) 11 1 mm (0.43 0.04 inch)
Adjust the bumper to 11 1 mm (0.43 0.04 inch) from the surface of the bracket.
