Attach base assembly (5) to hood using four bolts (3) and four washers (2). Torque the bolts to 55 N m (41 lb ft).

Attach precleaner group (4) to base assembly (5) using clamps provided with precleaner group (4). Torque the clamps to 7.5 N m (5.5 lb ft).

Reattach hose (B) to base assembly (5) reusing clamp (A) or using clamp (1). Torque the clamps to 7.5 N m (5.5 lb ft).

Secure check valve (6) to coolant tank using bolt (5) and washer (3). Torque the bolt to 55 N m (41 lb ft).

Attach 378 mm (14.88 inch) hose (2) to check valve (6) and base assembly (8) using clamps (1).
