1.0 additional hour allowed for each four-bar casting to fabricated main rail joint that requires rework.
2.0 additional hours allowed if the bottom right hand side four-bar casting to fabricated main rail joint requires rework. These additional hours are to remove hydraulic lines in order to have adequate space to perform the rework procedure.
1.0 additional hour allowed if the bottom left hand side four-bar casting to fabricated main rail joint requires rework. These additional hours are to remove components on the back of the fuel tank in order to have adequate space to perform the rework procedure.
Each claim must include frame offset measurement results. This information must be included in the "Comments" section of the claim.
For each four-bar casting to fabricated main rail joint offset that requires rework it is required to attach a picture of the offset prior to being reworked and after being reworked to the claim in SIMSi.

Rework Procedure
Group 1 Only
1. Measure four-bar casting to fabricated main rail joint offset top and bottom, left and right side, per Special Instruction REHS9555 "Procedure to Inspect and Rework the Frame 4 Bar Casting to Main Rail Connection Offset on the 793F Off-Highway Truck".
See Image 1.1.1 for top view of four-bar casting to fabricated main rail joint offset. See Image 1.1.2 for bottom view of four-bar casting to fabricated main rail joint offset.
If the frame offset exceeds 5 millimeters rework the transition per Special Instruction REHS9555.

2. Remove the 2 body pads from the body that contact this joint and retain hardware. See Image 1.2.1 for location.

3. Install (2) 457-4418 Body Pad As with no shims and previously removed hardware installed loosely.
Note: Ensure that the new shorter body pads do not contact the four-bar link casting to fabricated main rail joint. See Image 1.3.1 for an example of proper installation.
4. Lower the body slowly until the first mounting pad assembly contacts the truck rail. This pad establishes neutral body down position and requires no additional shims at this pad assembly. Ensure that the modified body pad only contacts the main rail and not the four bar casting on each side. Refer to UENR2257 (Disassembly and Assembly "Body and Canopy - Install") for more information on the body pad shim procedure.
Note: When lowering the body to establish the neutral down position, if the body landing pads contact the rocker assemblies before the body pads contact the frame rails, then add required shims to the body pad with closest clearance to minimize the gap. With this neutral position
