HOUSING-ORIFICE 6T6685 - Caterpillar

1. Remove bolt (3) and the nut that hold the muffler to the bracket.2. Remove two nuts (4) that hold the dust ejector tube to the bottom of the muffler.3. Loosen clamp (2) and remove muffler (1).Install Muffler
1. Put muffler (1) in position on the exhaust elbow. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the clamp. Install the clamp.2. Put dust ejector tube (3) in position on the bottom of the muffler. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the studs and install the two washers and nuts that hold the elbow to the muffler. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 20 5 lb.ft. (25 7 N m).3. Connect bracket (2) to the bottom of the muffler.
